Delft Rotterdam Centre for Process Management and Simulation (CPS)
Contact person: dr. I.S. (Igor) Mayer
CPS is concerned with complex decision making in the public as well as in the private sector. The complexity of decision making processes is generally caused by uncertainty (for instance about future technological developments), by the involvement of many interdependent actors with opposite interests and by the dynamics of the problem (today’s solution is tomorrow’s problem). CPS offers a wide variety of methods and innovative techniques to deal with this complexity. The centre distinguishes itself by integrating different types of expertise: process management, public management, (participative) policy analysis, (participative) systems engineering, business process engineering and responsive simulation gaming.
For more information see the CPS website.
