Dr. Claudia Werker 

Economics of innovation

Short Overview

Claudia Werker has been holding a teaching and research position in Economics of Innovation at Delft University of Technology since September 2007. She obtained her master degree in economics (Diplom-Volkswirtin) from the University of Konstanz, Germany, and her PhD-degree (Dr. rer. pol.) from Freiberg University of Technology, Germany (summa cum laude). Claudia Werker has been doing research on economics of innovation and technological change and is specifically interested in the creation and dissemination of innovation and knowledge in sectoral and regional innovation systems. Moreover, she looks into role of innovation policy. Claudia Werker has been teaching economics of innovation, microeconomics, innovation policy, economic policy, international business management, innovation management and a variety of research projects.
