Fees

Early registration fee
Registered and paid before June 15th, 2009 € 700,00
Normal registration fee
Registered and paid before September 14th, 2009 € 800,00
Late/on site registration fee
Registered and paid after September 14th, 2009 € 900,00

The Conference fee includes: Access to all Conference sessions, Welcome Drinks on Sunday, 20 September, lunches and coffee/tea/refreshments during breaks, Conference dinner on Tuesday, 22 September, conference bag, USB stick with conference papers.

Welcome Drinks/Registration

Price:               Included in conference fee.

To have an indication of how many people we can expect, we kindly ask you to fill out on the registration form whether you will be attending the Welcome Drinks when registring.

Conference dinner

Date:               Tuesday 22 September 2009
Time:               19.00 hours
Location:          Restaurant de Prinsenkelder, Schoolstraat 11, Delft, The Netherlands
Price:               Included in conference fee.

Professional Excursion

Date:               Friday 25 September 2009
Time:             Leaving from Delft at 9:30
Location:          The conference tour (optional) will bring us to Amsterdam by train. There we will visit the information centre dedicated to the construction of the new North-South metro line and we will attend a presentation presenting the innovative “super-incentive” contracts that have been implemented in regional/suburban public transport around Amsterdam. On our way to Amsterdam we will also have a look at the “Zuidtangent”, an innovative piece of bus infrastructure linking various regional sub-centres around Amsterdam by a separated high-frequency busway system.

Partner Registration

For those participants travelling with their partner:
Partners are welcome to attend the social events of the conference (such as the welcome drink, the organised dinner(s) or the excursion). Please send an e-mail to thredbo11@tudelft.nl to indicate your wishes. Payment for these activities will be arranged at the registration desk:
Welcome drinks and conference dinner: EUR 100,-
Excursion: EUR 60,-

Hotel registration

For Thredbo11 there are special hotel prices if you book your hotel room together with your registration.
Hotel prices include breakfast, the city tax is not included ( approx. € 2,- per person, per night).
To guarantee your hotel reservation a hotel deposit of € 100 is required and will be charged together with the registration fee.
The hotel deposit will be deducted from your hotel bill when checking out.
You will be notified by the Thredbo 11 Congress Office in case the hotel of your choice is not available anymore.
If you want to change your hotel reservation or make an (additional) hotel booking after you have already submitted your registration you will be invoiced for € 10 administration costs.

Registration and Cancellation Conditions Thredbo11

Cancellation

Registered participants may cancel their registration until 15^th June , 2009. There is a cancellation fee of € 100. Cancellation fee for cancellations received between 15th June and August 1^st., 2009 is 50%. The rest of the registration fee as well as the hotel deposit will be refunded after the conference.

There is no refund of registration fee and social events for cancellations received after 1 Augustus 2009. Refund of a hotel deposit is possible until one week before arrival.

If you need to cancel or change your hotel reservation, please inform the Thredbo 11 Congress Office immediately, as participants will be invoiced for non-occupancy of reserved rooms.

Cancellations must be done in writing (e-mail, regular mail or fax).

Liability

The Organising Committee cannot accept any responsibility for personal accidents or damage to private property of the participants. Participants are advised to take out insurance, as they consider necessary.

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the hosting of the conference be hindered or prevented by unforeseen political or economical events or by force majeure, or should non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes.

By his/her registration, the participant accepts this provision.
